In collaboration with local landowners, EE Paradise Solar, LLC is planning the proposed EE Paradise Solar Project. The proposed project will be built on reclaimed coal mine land, turning formerly extractive sites into a source of clean energy.
We look forward to engaging with you as the Project advances.
EE Paradise Solar, LLC is a proposed electric-generating facility in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Sitting on approximately 600 acres in Central City, the proposed Project will produce up to 80-megawatts of electricity (enough to power approximately 7,000 homes).
The Project will generate energy, increase grid reliability, and provide electricity for the nearby Central City South Substation. Further, the planned project will help strengthen U.S. energy independence.
Prioritizing local hiring where possible, EE Paradise Solar, LLC anticipates the creation of approximately 100 jobs - 200 jobs during construction.
We are committed to being a community partner and welcome your feedback throughout the process.
The proposed project will be in Muhlenberg County, approximately three miles south of Central City and will repurpose a former coal mine.
